I want to be Kind at a time like this, as well as Honest. I’m not a fan of the royal family in any way, shape, or form, but I have to admit that we have reached the end of an era with the death of Queen Elizabeth II. While the very concept of royalty strikes at my egalitarian soul, even I must admit the QE2 carried herself with grace and dignity. At the same time, her offspring conducted themselves like the spoiled brats they were.
If I were British, I would certainly be advocating for an end to the whole monarchy Ponzi scheme. I don’t see a future for royalty in the 21st century, even less so than in the 20th century. It’s my opinion, and since I’m not British, it doesn’t count. I don’t mean to offend; just stating my feelings about the end of an era.
