Trust is something very difficult to earn, or to give to someone else. Trust involves acknowledging that we need someone else, or that we recognize someone else needs us. Kindness leads to Trust, but one must never let Trust become gullibility.
Obviously, we form Trust with people we are close to everyday much more easily than with strangers. But there is a double-edged sword in that scenario, because those we Trust can also hurt us very easily because we never expect it from them. The hurt doesn’t have to be intentional, but it must be addressed quickly and completely to avoid destroying Trust.
To find someone in your life that you can Trust is truly wonderful. Don’t ever do anything to destroy that Trust, and hope that the other person never does anything to destroy it either.
