Kindness Journey – Day 82 – Starting New Routines

Slowly, life is slowing down in the new apartment. There is still some unboxing and arranging to do because we’re getting older and don’t move as quickly as we once did. Still, things have gone remarkably well since we arrived.

Being Kind means being Kind to oneself as much as to anyone else. I spent a little extra money to get a small hanging rack where I put my wallet and keys every time I come through the door. I am convinced that my memory isn’t what it used to be, and I was constantly looking for my keys and wallet. I am training myself to put them in the same place every single day. This new habit should save me a lot of time and aggravation in the future.

The one thing I just haven’t had the time and energy for is cooking. I really want to get started in the kitchen, but there are so many other things that need attention first.
