Preparation and Anticipation
Tomorrow is the day Hal goes in for eye surgery. He has delayed the surgery due to my health problems and hospitalization late last year, followed by our move to the new apartment in April. I’m doing better and will be taking care of Hal for a change as he recovers. I do know that he won’t be allowed to exert himself for quite a while after the surgery.
Today is hopefully the day when my new guitar arrives. I’m really looking forward to it because I’ll definitely be home taking care of Hal. If the guitar doesn’t arrive today, I’ll survive. I’ve waited so long to purchase the guitar that one more day won’t make a difference. Patience is the key to serenity and calm. In the past, I would’ve driven myself insane, stressing over the arrival of the guitar, but now I am free from that stress.
