Saturday afternoon is here and we are concerned about Stevie Nicks, one of our cats. She has been acting very lethargic over the past two days, but she is eating and drinking normally. She had her rabies booster shot about two weeks ago and we’re wondering if she is having some type of reaction to that.
I’m trying to get an appointment for her at the vet on Monday. We’ll be keeping our eyes on Stevie Nicks for the rest of the weekend. Hoping that this is nothing, and that she’ll be better soon.
Ever since we moved to the new apartment, I’ve noticed a difference in my breathing. I’m feeling better than I have in months, and I’m not using oxygen tanks every day. In fact, I have decided to try sleeping without being hooked up to oxygen.
My doctor supports my decision to try sleeping without the oxygen cannula tube in my nose. Otherwise, I would not attempt this step. However, I feel like this is an essential milestone in recovering and regaining strength.
It has become apparent that the old apartment was a significant factor in my health problems. I made every effort to get better while living there, to no avail. I’m sorry that something so apparent was a significant cause of the problem. I still have COPD and will have breathing difficulties, but the magnitude will be less after getting away from the old apartment.
