Snow?
A Winter Storm Watch was issued this afternoon that goes into effect on Sunday and lasts through Monday. Estimates run up to 8 inches of snow possible, but that can range from 0-12 inches. The forecasts here are seldom accurate, especially since we are 50 moles from either DC or Richmond, VA, where the estimates originate.
The only certainty is that people here will have full-scale nervous breakdowns because the word “snow” was uttered. The panic buying will commence, and there won’t be bread or milk anywhere. The super spreader events will be at the grocery stores, and that’s another reason we went this afternoon as soon as we could.
Hopefully, we won’t get any snow at all, and this whole thing will just be another false snow alarm.
