0545 – Today is Wednesday and Team USA plays Algeria in their final group game at the World Cup. I am hopeful that Team USA can finally start a game without falling behind. It would be terrific to move into the knockout phase and take our chances there.

If we win we would match up against one of the Group D teams. I am not as sure of their group scenarios, but it could involve a match with Germany. Regardless, I like our chances in a knockout tournament.

1215 – Now I hear about the final score.1-0 USA! Sadly I was caught up in a meeting and missed the game. Am very glad we won and now we wait to see who we play in the knockout round starting this weekend!

1600 – Heading home via Metro. Hoping that ESPN will replay the game this evening. GO USA!
